Employee portrait: Meet Nicolas Monsacré, EDI Project Manager

TX2 CONCEPT would not be the company it is today without the women and men who work there. This is why you will have the opportunity to get to know our employees through interviews. You will discover each of our services and the talents that make them up.

Let’s start with Nicolas Monsacré!

What department do you work in and what is your current position?

I work in the EDI project team and I am an expert project manager.

What are your main missions?

My missions mainly concern the implementation of EDI projects, which includes:

  • Consulting (technical expertise)
  • Commercial follow-up
  • Creation, testing and implementation of EDI flows
  • Project management and monitoring as well as the organization of technical points with the various project stakeholders.

How long have you been working at TX2 CONCEPT?

I arrived at TX2 Concept in 2007, so 16 years ago.

What is your background (educational and professional)?

I obtained a baccalaureate S option Ti then a DUT in Mechanical and Production Engineering (GMP) with a specialization in the Automotive industry which directed me more towards a position in a design office, but I discovered an interest in IT and therefore looked for a job that combines IT and the Automotive industry, which led me to work in EDI at TX2 Concept. I first joined TX2 Concept as a technical sales representative, then was Manager of the Automotive project team for 10 years and am now an expert EDI project manager.

What is your favorite aspect of your job?

I like many things in my job but what I prefer is to participate and feel useful in projects by using the knowledge I have acquired during these 16 years.

What qualities are essential for your job?

From my point of view, it is essential to be organized in your work, to have logical reasoning and good interpersonal skills to set up a project in the best conditions. A good command of English is undeniably a big plus.

What advice would you give to a new employee?

Not to be discouraged. EDI cannot be learned in a few days and this can quickly lead to discouragement.

If you had to describe TX2 CONCEPT in a few words?

TX2 Concept is a company that I have known for a long time and which has never stopped evolving. However, what still characterizes TX2 Concept despite the years are the dynamism, the expertise, the adaptability to the market, the seriousness and the availability of the teams.

What is your best memory since your arrival in the company?

I obviously have several very good memories with TX2 Concept but the most striking are perhaps certain business trips for the implementation of EDI projects. Customer contact is obviously not the same as remotely and this creates special links with clients.
